The primered chariot you see before you is a 1963 Rambler 660 Classic 4 door sedan. 195.5 inline 6 cylinder, 3 on the tree manual. The body is shockingly straight and solid. As you can see, the trim is off, but it's all in the trunk.
Not in the trunk, but in my shed, is the original front bench seat frame. These front seats fold flat into a bed. Apparently these seat frames are rare-ish and worth money, but if I were a hipster driving this rat rod looking thing, I'd put the Murphy Bed back in and take my chances. (Fedora optional)
Sorry, got sidetracked. This car runs (smooth! Could use some carb adjustments, like anything old, won't idle unless your foot is on the gas) moves, and kind of stops. The gas tank was pulled, patched and reinstalled, but the line wasn't hooked up. There's a jerry can feeding the carb so it can be started. Brakes need to be gone through. Front floorboards need replacing. Rears are solid, trunk is solid, structurally sound.
I had some trouble with the shift linkage, but I fixed it. Myself. I mean, I talked it over with my old man, but I did the work.
So. A few days of turning wrenches, steal some road signs to patch the floors and this'll be a cool old beater. A few months and it could be nice. I'm not gonna do either.
Cash and carry (obviously must be towed, buyer is responsible), or certified check. $200 deposit within 5 days of sale, car must be removed within two weeks of auction close.
