This is a 1961 Rambler American Convertible in fantastic shape body wise. Interior is great. Motor runs great. Has new Brake drums, new brake shoes, new wheel cylinders, new brake lines and hoses. It was recently tuned up with points, condenser, wires, cap and rotor and plugs. Has a new battery and fuel filter. It was originally red and was painted a long time ago white. It has usual small scratches but still looks fine for now. The top is good but not new, tires are true wide white walls and have great tread. I drove it home ( about 20 miles ) and it went down the road as good as any 60's car. The only and I mean only rust spot is lower behind drivers door and it is not bad. There is no rust on the underside. I would replace the master cylinder and rebuild the carb. This car is not flawless by any means, it is a very neat little curser that still needs some TLC and is getting very hard to find. It does leak some fluids from sitting so much but nothing serious.
