This is a 1974 AMC Matador Brougham 304 automatic. The car has an unbelievable documented 20, 000 actual miles. It is well equipped with factory cruise control, AM/FM radio an factory air conditioning. The color is medium blue with a white vinyl top (no rust bubbles under the top), and blue brocade cloth and vinyl interior. The front seat is a split bench. This car, with the exception of the worn front seat, is in the condition of a three year old car. You can drive it anywhere.
The negatives: As mentioned, the front seat back needs re-upholstered (upholstery available), and it needs a new York AC compressor. It was blowing ice cold, but the compression in the compressor is too low, and it will need to be replaced.
I have reduced the price of the car to cover these deficiencies. The car body is in overall, rust free, good condition, although it has a few old man created dings. Check out the pictures provided and make the decision to purchase this unusually low mileage hard to find car.
