Offering a great little 1963 Rambler American 440, ivory in color, a rust-free Texas car, a rare 1-year hardtop model (steel roof designed to mimic the appearance of a closed convertible top), powered by a 196 cu. in. 6-cylinder engine, with a column 3-speed manual transmission, and a custom vinyl interior. It features custom 15”x6” steel wheels with smoothie hub caps, and new P205/70R15 white stripe tires. Everything works except for C-pillar courtesy lights. This is an excellent driver; good paint, clean body, nice interior; it shows well but it is not a restored show car. Purchased on e-Bay over two years ago and brought it home to where it was made (Kenosha, WI). I’ve made numerous repairs and upgrades. Several items still need attention, both front window door sills (cracks), left front door window regulator (catches, crank loose), headliner (faded), C-pillar courtesy lights (inop., missing lenses), engine compartment (detailing). Underside of hood shows possible hail damage (previous owner did not mention). Bumpers, good chrome, some distortion. I’m offering this car for sale, regrettably, due to time and space constraints.
