Going to start unloading my garage due to move. This baby goes first.
It's a 2008 Aston Martin V8 Vantage black on black with orange inserts in interior.
This car was owned by a vice president of Morgan Stanley until someone hit it on the driver side door. I purchased it damaged and fixed. The door was replaced and whole side of the car + front bumper were repainted. But due to accident history it has rebuilt title.
It's a convertible with SportShift which is a robotic controlled manual transmission. It will shift automatically for you or you can use paddle shifters on the steering wheel to manually shift it.
It has most of the available options - xenon headlamps, navigation system, heated seats, parking sensors etc.
The car is very fast and sounds awesome. It's ready to be driven, but to make it ideal there's still some work needs to be done.
Specifically, this is what I know still is not perfect about it:
o Front bumper lip is broken. I have it. Can be epoxied, painted and reinstalled.o Passenger side seatbelt won’t pull in. Retractor needs to be replaced or fixed.o Driver seat air bag deployed. I have the new airbag, it just needs to be installed and seat cover repaired.o Convertible top rear window comes unglued. It doesn't leak, just looks weird.o Driver seat switch only works forward. Will not recline or move seat back. Either switch is bad or one of the motors in the seato Cruise control doesn’t worko Loose modules in the trunk. Looks like someone was working on it back there. Possibly that's why cruise control doesn't work.o Driver door panel has a crack on pull handleo Clutch shows signs of extensive wear. May need to be replaced soon.o Rear license plate light looseo Grille missing one “upright”o Wheels have lots of curb rash. o Passenger side door shock is weak. Still holds the door open on flat surface, but won't hold if car is at an angle.
I believe I remembered everything. If you don't care about some or all of those things - you can hop in and drive the car as is. It runs great and strong.
Oh, and it comes with lifetime subscription to Sirius satellite radio. Free of charge for you.
The car is being sold as is with no warranty and at a reduced price due to all those issues described above. Please ask any questions you may have before you bid. I will do my best to provide you with all honest information I have. I also have photos of the prior damage to the driver door taken before it was fixed. Can send those upon request.
