Up for sale is my very nice 2003 Audi A4 Avant Wagon with a 1.8 Turbo motor and sport package. This car is in very good shape and drives great. It has had all new shocks and springs in the last year, both new front axles, new coolant flange with coolant temp sensor, and front sway bar links and bushings. I have receipts to show all of this. Koni adjustable struts installed make the car corner so nice. I recently replaced the crank position sensor, a brand new throttle body, and upgraded the crankcase breather hose and PCV bleeder valve to the 034 motor sport silicone kit. I also replaced the front passenger wheel bearing and hub, and put a new valve cover gasket in last week. It has an ARP stage 1 chip that increases boost, horsepower, and torque significantly. This car boosts to 22 psi max, which you can see on the boost gauge in the car. This car is fast, handles great, shifts great, etc. the transmission shifts smoothly. Tip mode works intermittently- easy fix. just a magnet and board that goes under shifter.
Motor has great power and i recently did a compression test which showed all four cylinders between 160 and 180 psi. I added a picture with the valve cover off so you can see there are no oil sludge problems.
The wheels are 17 inch sport wheels painted gloss grey. The wheels are a bit chipped in places but all true and straight. As you can see the car has tints, and tinted film over the rear tail lights and chrome trim, which can be removed if you like. The car has a clear adhesive bra over the front bumper and nose, as well as on the backs of the mirrors.
The outside paint is average for its age, some small dings here and there and scratches, as well as slightly tired trim parts not being as tight, but the color shines well and there is no major body damage. The interior is also average for its age. The back seats are in good shape with the exception of one spot of the leather that is scuffed up. All door panels, carpets, and headliner is in very good shape. Zero stains on any carpets or headliners. The front seats are sport seats with Alcantara suede. They are a bit dirty but I'm working on cleaning those. There is a specific cleaning solution that can be ordered for alcantara. This car was in Colorado so it does not have any rust underneath or anywhere, it's much drier there than in New England. Heat and AC work great. It has an aftermarket head unit with a USB cable so you can hookup your ipod. Speakers work great. All electronics, windows, lights, etc work.
There are no dash or check engine lights on. I have been working on this car for over a month to get it in good shape for the next owner.
The sensor for the hood latch broke so the car things the hood is open when it is not, this is not a big deal and can be replaced in time. Similarly the same thing happens for the rear hatch. From time to time the car will think the hatch is open because the latches wear down over time. I will add more pictures soon. Email me for videos of the car running and driving. Brakes are showing some wear and could be replaced within a year.
These quattros are unbeatable in bad weather conditions and you will be happy. I set the reserve low. You will get a solid, ready to go, fast daily driver for a good price that handles great and looks good. I have records from previous 2 owners.
