So this is what happens when you buy a Boerboel puppy. My wife and I really thought we would have another year before having to find an SUV but my puppy has other plans and is now 8 months old and 120 pounds. As such, my wife has reluctantly decided to sell her beloved A5. She is meticulous in its upkeep and has already required a front bumper respray once to correct stone chips. Outside of that, there has been no body work either during our or previous owner's ownership. There are a few stone chips on the chin spoiler, side skirt, and one ding by the fuel door, and finally a few scuffs on the top of the rear bumper. One wheel has a scuff.
The interior is in excellent shape with only three flaws. The B pillar has some gouging from fingernails of rear seat passenger who was rather clumsy in attempting to get out. The back of the passenger bolster has a few scuffs as well. The final flaw is that the chrome ring around the horn / airbag in the steering wheel delaminated. All of the flaws have been addressed and are no longer offensive but not perfect.
All flaws are pictured where pictures can be taken sufficiently well enough to illustrate the flaws. In other words, most of the rock chips on the chin, the ding by the fuel door and wheel scuff are inconspicuous enough not to show up in pictures or are clear in the pictures included.
The vehicle has all the options including, moonroof, rear-back up camera, Sirius XM, iPod and iPhone connectivity (we have both cables), Navigation, Homelink garage door controls, heated front seats, auto-dimming rear mirror, etc. etc... The only thing that I found the vehicle lacking was memory seating. My wife and I are different enough in height and chosen seating position for this to be an issue. I have both the foul weather rubber mats and the carpet mats which may have been new when I purchased the car because they have no discernible wear.
The car has been regularly maintained at our local dealership and all records during our ownership will be included with the vehicle.
We will miss this vehicle but it sadly no longer suits our ever-growing Boerboel puppy named Zeke.
For those of you who are wondering, the AQUANAUTS sticker is NOT included in the sale!
The car is being driven by my wife primarily, but I have taken it to Miami and back. As such, the mileage will be higher than that listed on the original listing date 10 days ago.
I have been asked about delivery and shipping. If the buyer needs a ride from Ft. Myers FL airport, I am happy to pick you up. As to shipping, I will make the A5 available to the buyer's shipping company upon receipt of funds, and at my home or the nearest point the driver finds that is suitable to safely load the vehicle. All paperwork will be overnighted to buyer's address the same day as pick up, if possible.
