The R8 for the driving purist. 4.2L naturally-aspirated V8 engine with the increasingly hard-to-find 6-speed, Lamborghini-sourced manual transmission. Single owner (performance car and Audi enthusiast), garage-kept, rigorously maintained.
Understated and classic Audi color: Daytona Gray exterior with body-color side blades ($1000 option). Protective 3M clear bra film applied to entire front-end and side-view mirrors. Bang & Olufsen sound system ($1800 option). Includes the premium package ($2100 option for parking system with camera, hill hold assist, auto dimming/folding mirrors, storage package). Audi navigation system plus ($2000 option). Leather package with the rich Tuscan brown interior ($2000 option).
Runs and drives great, the transmission shifts very smoothly. Clutch was replaced at 24, 904 miles (earlier than needed, as Audi was replacing the transmission under warranty at that time). Currently shod with Pirelli Sottozero winter performance tires, but additional set of Michelin Pilot Super Sports (summer high-performance) also included in this auction. Pagid performance brake pads in the front and rear, but still have OEM/factory pads too.
