Description:

Up for sale 2003 Audi RS6. I've own the vehicle for just over 6 years. In that time I've performed ever service per manufacture recommendation at a local Audi service provider where I've been a customer for approx. 15 years. Since I've taken ownership of the vehicle Iv'e installed a set of 19 inch 3pcs HREs and a GIAC ECU. The ECU has three setting, stock, 93 Octane, and 100 Octane, which equates to 450hp, 530hp, and 560hp respectively. Since I've installed the ECU, it has been set at 93 Octane (530HP), which is more than enough. As for the HREs, they are not perfect because of some curb rash and minor wear from use. The curb rash can be repaired by sanding and re-polished the damaged areas. The wheesls have a newer set Continental Contacts with 85 to 90 of tread left. The only thing I don't like about the wheels is that they are made for dry weather use ONLY!!! This hasn't been a problem for me because I only drive the car when the sun is out. If you get caught in the rain you can't take the vehicle over 45 mph because the water gets trapped in the drum section of the wheel. The trapped water throws the wheels out of balance. I have the stock wheels with a set of Blizzaks mounted (80% of tread).

Why Im selling the vehicle:The car is incredible and I know I will miss it something awful, but the time has come. My daughter is getting older, collecting more friends and carrying more things when we go places. Thus, I'm in the process of buying a utility truck (refuse to do the minivan thing). In fact, I put a deposit down on Tuesday. I took the RS6 in for trade and one dealers offered me $15500 and another offered $15950. As dealerships go, the offer was reasonable but I know they are going to try to sale the car for $20000. After some thought I decided to offer the vehicle to the public starting the bid at 1K over my highest dealership offer.
