The cup holder in the center console is broken/loose. I'm replacing the cup holder. So this won't be an issue anymore (not like it was, but it was bugging me!)
The 40-valve 4.2-liter V-8 engine found in the S6, benefits from a higher-lift cam and revised two-stage mag-nesium intake manifold that raises horsepower from 300 to 340 bhp at 7000 rpm and torque from 295 to 310 lb.-ft. at 3400 rpm. The factory says the powertrain is good for a 0--60-mph sprint of 6.5 seconds.
In addition to the beef-ier engine, the front and rear independent suspensions are all aluminum, including new uprights, which helps reduce unsprung weight. Despite the mass of the V-8 engine, this weight-saving translates into a car that is only 100 to 150 lb. heavier than the V-6 wagon, although it still tips the scales at 4025 lb. Shipping:
I will work with the interested party getting the car to a transport or be available to allow a transport to pick it up. Buyer does not need to be on site, but the car won't leave without funds being cleared, certified checks verified, cash counted, cows milked or the chickens being plucked.
NOTES:
I've bought cars from ebay in the past, there is always something missed in the description, or something that someone didn't think was important but to the buyer it was. I'll answer all questions to the best of my ability and assist in the buying of the car as best as I can. But this is a 13 year old car, it's not perfect and is probably a 8/10 for me, but some may think it's a 9/10 and others may think it's a 7/10. So ask the questions, get someone to put eyes on it, arrange a Pre purchase inspection. Even at the buy it now price it's a great deal, well below book..

The cluster has the normal Audi syndrome of the center informational piece goes out when it get's hot. This is a $200 replacement item and will be the responsibility of the buyer.
