On the surface, the TT's reason for being is to commemorate Audi's American Le Mans Series wins and championships. Which it does. But it also represents the most performance-oriented iteration of Audi's wonderfully Bauhaus sports car: closed coupe body, 225-hp turbo-four/six-speed combo, Quattro AWD (all-wheel drive), and a handsome new 19-in. wheel-and-tire combo. (worth $3, 000 alone).
*Car only has 95, 1xx in the odometer, always garage-kept, and in the last few years have averaged 3, 000 miles per year! (travel a lot), so it's time for someone else to have fun in this awesome little car.
*Timing belt was changed by EuroSports in Vegas, NV at 91, 000mi (which is a $2, 000 mandatory maintenance for interference engines, that means this car will NOT need timing belt or water pump for another 90, 000 miles!)
*Only two owners total. I have had the car for the past 5 years, and it is in top mechanical shape. It hasn't been used much, so the battery might need maintenance (battery is an aftermarket high-amp).
*Paint condition: Very good, except for some chips and dings in the front (regular highway debris).
*Tires: low profile aftermarket tires, 90% thread left, with 19 rims.
*Aftermarket equipment: Carbon-fiber hood ($1, 200), Sony MP3 head unit.
*Transmission: manual 6-speed, shifts smoothly.
*Brakes: very good condition, no known issues.
*Acceleration: Very good. Handling is awesome in this car.
*AC is ice cold.
This is an Audi TT that truly stands from the rest. The paint/rim combination gets attention everywhere I go and people believe this is a $30K car!
Car has no issues and carfax is available but ONLY for serious buyers that want to come and check the car out, rides awesome, timing belt maintenance, oil changes, etc.
The only cons:
Only have one regular key with NO transponder capabilities (the fob that unlocks/locks the car). The LCD in the front dashboard has the dead pixel effect that is so common in these TTs. I've had it for 5 years with no issues, but a company on eBay would fix it and ship it back to you for $150 if you know how to take the part out or want to spend the time to do so.
