Price: US $5,900.00

Description:

This is a 1971 Austin America.
The Good--New tires--Great paint--Runs and drives--4-speed manual transmission. --New exhaust manifold--New tail pipe--New muffler--New Weber high performance carburetor--New intake--Interior is in excellent shape, all 100% original interior. Interior is a 9 out of 10--Original Radio--Original Electric Antenna--No cracks on dashboard--Original Seatbelts--Great suspension--Solid undercarriage--No Rust
The Bad
--Blowby - The engine has substantial blowby coming from the crankcase. I would think it is due to compressed piston rings. I do have a new set of rings, head gasket set and engine gasket set. I was eventually going to overhaul the engine, but time is now an issue. All these items are included with the purchase of the car.--Burns oil - most of the oil consumption is due to the blowby issue.--Speedometer quit working last week. I've yet to take a look if it's the cable that snapped or what happened. --No choke cable. You have to use the gas pedal on a cold start
I will consider all offers.
