1952 Austin A40 Sports Convertible Designed by Jensen, this all aluminum bodied car was made for the American market. Only 1200 were made over a two year period. Production was halted so that Jensen could start making bodies for the A100 Healy starting in 1953. This car is the finest example of the A40 Sports in existence. Restored in 2006, the car won trophies at seven concourse events. It is now driven regularly. The car comes with all tools, manuals, jack and a photo book of the restoration. The Austin is a great car around town, and you will never see another. $60, 000 restoration. New paint, all leather interior, top and mechanicals. Never had rust, and it never will!
