After a brief tour of local British enthusiast car meetups and Euro Car Shows, we are proud to offer this 1967 Austin Healey MKIII BJ8 Roadster up for sale. This car is a fantastic driver and was completely restored in the 1980's. This car was the subject of a thorough ground up, nut and bolt, rotisserie restoration and engine rebuild during the 1990's in San Fernando, CA and just recently went through a $6000 refreshing and tune-up by Carolina Coach Crafters of Mooresville, NC. This is a great example of a true restoration that has proven the true craftsmanship against the test of time. Painted in true Healey Blue with dark Blue leather interior. This 100 point restoration is photo documented and the album accompanies the car. Car is equipped with racing rally vents, wire wheels, adjustable steering column, new tires, 3rd & 4th gear overdrive, and a heater. The convertible top is in great condition with very little sign of wear and tear. All chrome is in beautiful shinning condition. Only 13k miles since restoration on the engine in the 90's. All the work and detailing has been carried out to the highest Austin Healey Gold Concours standards. The car runs and performs flawlessly on the road and is a true pleasure to drive with its upgrades that year of a 148hp, 2, 912cc inline-six, a walnut-veneer dashboard and a carpeted, folding backrest for converting the vestigial back seat into a luggage shelf.. The car is equally ready for the show field and the open road.
