This is your chance to own a highly desirable 1959 Austin Healy 3000. This is one of the first 3000's as the original 3000 was built from March 1959 to March 1961. This is a BT7 Mark I (2+2 version). It is fitted with the original 2912 cc engine, with twin SU Carburetors and Girling front disc brakes. It also has Wire spoke wheels, electric overdrive gearbox, new carpets, up hostelry and door trim.
This vehicle starts every time, is a joy to drive and has the distinctive Healy sound that true sports car enthusiasts love to hear. It is attractively priced to sell however do not let that fool you. This is a quality car with great paintwork, chrome and all dials and equipment are working well.
Drives great and overdrive slips in and out on the flick of the switch. When I was 8 years old in England I watched cars like this drive by and I used to dream of owning one of my own and now I have had this one for 3 years I will be sad to see her go.
I have been asked it the chassis and engine are a match and the answer is yes. I included photos of the plates. There was an error in the previous listing which required me to re list.
