1964 Austin-Healey 3000, Mk-II, BJ7 – One of the last BJ7s built in October of 1963. This car is finished in its original Colorado Red over black interior with red piping and is in great condition. The chrome wires wheels sparkle along with the paint and bright work. The six-cylinder engine runs strong & starts right off. The 4-speed transmission has overdrive that works as it should. Over the last two years I have invested over $3500 into mechanical repairs and parts so as to ensure the reliability, dependability and safety of this car. There are many new or near-new parts including the tonneau cover, top with clear rear window, and upholstery. The mechanical work includes the following: new brake master cylinder, rear brake lines, new fuel lines, axle seals, U-joints, pinion seal, clutch slave cylinder, rear splined hubs, hoses, wires, spin-on oil filter, rebuilt speedometer, battery cut-off switch, heater control panel, major tune-up and many more items. This car has proved to be reliable and great fun to drive and has won a people’s choice award at a local car show. There is no rust on the chassis and the reported mileage of 47, 800 miles appears to be accurate. Sale is via cash or electronic transfer only. A $500 deposit via PayPal is to be paid within 48 hours of the completion of the auction, and the balance within 72 hours.
