Up for sale, a late model Austin Healey BJ8 3000. This car comes with the British Motor Heritage Certificate showing the car was built 22 December (1966) – 24 January 1967. The mileage shows 37795. The body on this car is extremely straight. It has the original black interior in very good condition. The door panels have some minor damage. This BJ8 has a nice convertible top and comes also with the boot cover and tonneau cover. It has the standard 60 spoke painted wire wheels with 165 x 15 like new Cooper Mastercraft tires. This car has all the original chrome, and although not perfect, it is still good. There are some pits in the grill surround and some crazing on the bumper chrome. I see no rust anywhere on the car body. The original frame rails are straight. The front crossmember is nice. It has one small rust hole above the tailpipes in the trunk floor. This is more than likely from a battery spill. The paint job is several years old but still very respectable. There are a few nick and minor chips. There is no rust in the fender wells including in front of the rear tires. It has the standard original type mild steel exhaust system. Because it is one of the later cars it has the non cloisonné MKIII emblem on the front. The doors close as they should on this nice BJ8 with no sag. This car also has the original handbook, as well as the BMC service book. There is also a copy of the original bill of sale. This MKIII Austin Healey has the original dealer badge still on the trunk lid. A $500.00 deposit ( Paypal accepted) is due within 24 hours of auction's close.
