I am putting my 1953 Austin Healey BN1 up for sale. I
started the project, but moved to a new house and do not have the room for the
project at the new place. It is a very early BN1 (with a spiral bevel axle). The
original chassis ID tag is intact (on passenger-side chassis rail), as well as
the body ID tag on the firewall. I took the car down to the frame and
sub-frame, sandblasted the frame and sub-frame, and put on an epoxy primer. I
have removed the driver-side floor panel and rocker panel. I have purchased all
new rocker panels, floor panels, trunk floor, main axle cover, pedal box (left
and right), front cross member, shut pillars (left and right) and more from
Moss Motors. I have the complete front and rear suspension and brakes (e.g., drums, shoes), rear axle, windshield posts and frame, radiator, seats, gas
tank, emergency brake lever, steering assembly (column, box, and steering wheel), transmission tunnel, and five 48-spoke rims. The car has no engine or
transmission. The frame, sub-frame, and body have rust in the usual places, but
can definitely be repaired. Overall, the body is straight and in good condition
except for the lower part of the front shroud. The car and all its parts are
stored in a garage. The car is sold as-is. Please message me with any
questions.
