This magnificent car is one of the remaining original 640 Austin Healey 100 M “LeMans” High-Performance models built between 1955 and 1956 by the Austin Motor Company, Ltd. (England). It is a matching number car as confirmed by the BMIHT certificate and retains all of its original 100 M features including Le Mans carburetors, camshaft, high compression pistons, distributor and key.
The car has undergone a frame-off, ground-up restoration to original factory specifications with no expenses spared.
Special attention has been paid to important details, such as using correctly dated starter, generator, regulator, fuse box, switches, original ignition and keys, etc. which sets this restoration apart from others where parts from later Healeys or aftermarket replacement parts are frequently used.
The restoration has been documented by numerous pictures and the car has been testdriven for 500 miles since completion of the restoration.
