1962 Austin Healey Sprite- Built for AutoX and road use. This car has been built to be driven, the 948cc engine pulls like a much bigger motor and is built to last. This is perhaps the most fun street car I've ever owned. It handles like a dream, pulls like no tomorrow and shifts smoothly. The car was built using parts amassed over the past 20 years, many of which are no longer available at any price. It may not go faster than 90 mph, but it will go through corners at whatever speed YOU can handle. Even includes the Real Men use Three Pedals sticker!!
All of the best period parts used when possible. Runs great, always starts. Harness bar, Roll Bar, 4 Pt harnesses, Original engine and chrome (no cheap aftermarket repro). Fully sorted, Neutral steering and handling, sticks like glue to the road.

948 cc +.020 NOS Flattop PowerMax Pistons, 10:1 Compression Ratio, resized rods, crank 10/10, NOS BMC fast road cam (2A948), Double Row Timing Chain with Vernier Adjustable Gear, MiniSpares Lightened Lifters, ported 12G295 big valve head, Silicon Bronze Valve Guides, Valves Backcut for higher flow, RimFlow Intake valves, SS Exhaust valves, Mini Cooper 'S' dual valve springs, MKIV Mini Sintered 1.3 ratio Rocker Arms, Alloy valve cover, SU HS2 carbs with PiperCross foam filters. Winners Circle medium bore LCB with Eagle SS muffler. Only the best internals!
Gear Reduction Starter for fast starts every time. Pulls like a much larger engine, with no reliability issues (Other than being British)
Clutch and Transmission-
Custom Aluminum Flywheel (8.2 Lbs w/Ring gear) with Tilton friction surface, 1275cc Clutch with roller TO bearing (Never pull the engine to replace the TO bearing again!!). rebuilt Ribcase Transmission, all new bearings and synchros.
Dual Master cylinder setup from 1968 model.
Original 4.22:1 differential ratio (open diff), have 4.55 pumpkin and 5.38 ratio gear set available at additional cost.
Suspension-
520 lb/in Front Springs and Offset Rear Springs from Winner's Circle (ride height is adjustable), NOS Front 9/16 Swaybar, Adjustable Poly bushings on Trunnions, Poly Bushings on A-Arms, New King Pins and lower Pivot Pins, Adjustable Radius Rods, Winner's Circle Panhard Rod, Shortened limit Straps from Strapping Lad, Rebuilt and re-valved front and rear shocks-no leaks ever.
185/60-13 Toyo Proxes R888 Tires on 13 X 5.5 rims. 7/16-20 Wheel studs on 4 X 100 mm pattern-matches BMW, Toyota and Nissan Bolt Patterns
Brakes-
Front discs with later master cylinder setup, Rears have Kevlar lined shoes for greater grip, Goodridge Stainless Steel flexible lines.
Instrumentation-
SW Stage I Mechanical Oil Pressure and Water Temperature gauges with SW Stage I Ammeter. VDO Electronic Tachometer with Smiths face, Nisonger refurbished Speedometer. Fuel Pump Cutoff Switch, Momentary Start Switch with Cover, Two speed wiper motor
