This car was a trade in I received by a loyal customer who's husband had passed. This was his car and he had owned it for approximately 15 years prior to his death. I went to pick the car up myself when I delivered her truck to her and was surprised to see that they were keeping this car in its own house. Pretty cool I thought. It was in a very nice large wooden storage shed (one of the big ones with the loft inside). The shed was more like a mini house with all the décor and items around relating to the Austin Healey and old vintage cars. She mentioned he had been sick for a while and they hadn't had it out in a couple of years. She also said, He was the one who always started it, but I think I can figure it out. In all honesty as nice as the car looked, I didn't anticipate it starting, and I figured I would have to return with a trailer later. Needless to say, she hopped right in and said, I think you pull this thing out here (the choke), and then turn the car on and listen for a noise for a few seconds (the fuel pump), and then just turn they key. She did and the thing fired right up! I thought to myself, Wow! I can't believe it! Not even a battery boost needed. So we finalized the deal, and I hopped in and drove it back to my house! The ride was awesome. She lived on a mountain about 30 minutes away, and it was a beautiful fall day outside. I had never drove a car like this before, and man was it a joy. I felt like I was piloting an old prop plane as I was come down the mountain and blue sky was all around me! The car gave me no troubles at all, and I have drove it several more times with no issues. I decided to put the car in my shop until spring to sell, so here we are. Enough of the story, here are the details I know on the car.
Overall I think the car is in really good shape. I tried to take a lot of detailed pictures (like 70 something), be sure to look at them all closely.
Mechanically it is sound. It probably will need a new battery soon, and the oil probably should be changed. It seems to run and drive out excellent, the only thing I would say negative is it tries to run and sputter when you turn the key off. I have just been putting it in gear when I turn it off so it will stop immediately.
The paint is in really good shape but not perfect. There are a few minor blemishes. Where the body was welded from the factory the paint is those areas has small speckles (you can see it in photos). There is a ding in the rear bumper, and near the license plate light (all can be seen in pictures).
Tires seem to be like new.
Overall this is a very nice car and super fun to drive!

There are a few videos at the bottom of me driving the car, sorry about the shakiness, it is kinda hard to drive, shift, and film at same time while attempting to be safe. I should of had my co-pilot with me!!!
