This car has been sitting for 25 years in a friend of mine garage, he asked me if I wanted it. I not a british car guy, but it had mini lites and ive always wanted to make a spridgit. Here is what's new on the car.
new rebuild motor, new cultch and throw out bearing, new hoes and belts, new intake and weber carb, new header, new master cylinder, new clutch cylinder, new tires and wheels, new carpet, new gas tank, new fuel pump, new roll bar, new convertible top, new gear oil in trans and rear end, new paint, and mite as well say new bonnet, it was completely skimmed with risen and block sanded and painted with epoxy paint, new blue tooth stereo with a couple amps and a big compositor so it won't run down your battery, new steering wheel, I'm sure there is more new stuff, I took it on it's maiden voyage yesterday, 80 miles, drove great, likes to run about 60 miles an hour, so that's what I ran it at. No rust any where, no oil leaks, starts right up
Here's what I think it needs
A wrench flew out of my hand and broke the wind shield, it needs those straps on the rear end, they are there but look rough, some EBC green pads, I have got the head lights, parking lights. brake lights working, the speed omiter working, no tech working, oh yea its got electronic ign, no horn working yet, wind shied wipers were working, haven't tried them lately, no turn signals yet but close, stupid lucas electronics, there's a reason why bitish don't make cars any more, ok the last thing if your taller than 5'10'' and weigh more than 180 pounds, this car is not for you, I had to get rid of that 14 inch steering wheel and put that 12 inch on just so I can get out of it, it would be perfect for some one about 5'6'' and 140 pounds, if you got any question give me a call 704-562-6046
