Named for the famous straight stretch at Le Mans where cars reach their highest speeds, the Mulsanne S in 1988 was a homage to the Bentley car makers success at this race in its early years. The performance luxury car which Bentley has always maintained a dominant position in the marketplace, in essence has been somewhat defined by cars like the Mulsanne S.
This example of the Mulsanne S from 1988 is for sale today, located in Oregon and recently purchased at a large Auction in the Northwest. The car has 78, 872 miles at the time of listing, and is set to auction at no reserve. With a Black Lacquer exterior paint, displaying very few blemishes, and a red, hand painted pin stripe, this Bentley is sure to draw the attention of those who see it. New chrome and stainless, dark tinted paparazzi glass assures that any passengers riding in the back of this car go un-identifiable. The front end has the desirable European headlight package, tire tread has many more miles of use, and the car drives in comfort down the road with ease.
Interior of the car is wrapped in Saddle Conley glove soft leather including the dash, as well as a beautiful wood trim treatment. There are some minor issues with some of the wood on the trim (please see photos) that can be easily addressed and repaired.
