For sale 1956 Bentley Chassis number B73CM. This is what I know about it from the Bentley owners association, B 73 CM is a Right Hand Drive S1 from July 1956. It was a standard saloon with a body number 1319. The engine fitted was BC 286. The first owner was H.O. Bailey of Hopkins and Bailey Ltd. The car was Smoke green for the upper portions and sage green/Grey for the lower portions. The interior was beige hide with fawn headcloth and carpets. The only history I have of the car was it was in the USA owned by Colampos in 1968. When in the UK it carried two registration numbers SDP 803 and 1 DKB. Car is recently out of long term storage. It currently runs and drives but will need a little work before it will be fully road worthy again. Needs exhaust, shocks, and would probably benefit from a carb rebuild. Tires are good. fuel system has been flushed and has new electric fuel pump. As far as condition goes, car looks to be pretty much original except repaint done in early 80's. Good shape, very solid, mostly just showing its age. Paint unfortunately is lacquer and is cracking. There is a slight dent in the right rear fender (see pictures). heater core is currently disconnected. Interior is in very good condition, headliner has a few small holes in it. This car would be Great for someone who wants a nice driver car without to much effort or would be a prime candidate for a total restoration back to perfect.
