I have a very nice 73 2002tii matching numbers, if you are looking at this ad, you know how rare these cars are. The car runs strong, shifts solid and no rusts around the shock towers (a common prob with the 02's) The car handles like an old racer. Mechanically this tii is in good condition and just had an oil change done, battery replaced and tuneup performed on 2/11/16, (when cold doesnt hold rpm well but runs fine once it warms up) that being said the body of the car was resprayed in it's original color by it's previous owner. The paint job wasn't great, but it is passable as a driver, does have few small chips in it. The interior is in good shape, there are some cracks on the dash. At some point of its life it had a sunroof that was welded by the previous owner and now you can see cracks in the paint starting to appear on the roof. The odometer reads 39, xxx miles but I can't confirm or deny this. Here is other service that was done to the car:
1) Replaced brake wheel cylinder
2) Replaced all brake hoses
3) Replaced hazard and turn signal switches
4) Replaced old headlamp with new (wasn't broken, just wanted to improve it)
5) Replaced fuel pump
6) Replaced speedometer cable
7) Replaced old seatbelt with new (wasn't broken, just wanted to improve it)
8) Replaced alternator belt
9) New battery
10) Replaced fuel filler neck hose
11) 4 new tires
12) Replaced left window crank (wasn't broken, just wanted to improve it)
13) Replaced breather hose (connects to the valve cover)
14) Valve adjustment done in Dec. 2014
15) New gasket (wasn't broken, just wanted to take advantage of the valve adjustment)
16) Timing adjustment done in Dec. 2014
17) New oil change done in Feb. 2016
18) New battery installed Feb. 2016
19) Tune up done in Feb. 2016 (work was done in Eurotech in San Carlos a very reputable shop) They found nothing wrong with the car.
Bad: the heater doesn't work, and windshield wipers belt needs to be replaced.
I will also consider trades for: E34 M5, E39 M5, E29 M5, Suburban 2007+, Navigator L 2007+, Escalade ESV 2007+, Excursion diesel 7.3 only, Harley or victory bagger only in black or matte black colors, on all these trades I can add or you can add cash and sport bikes plus lots of cash on your end. Everything should have low miles. preferred colors are black and white.
