I am selling my 1976 BMW 2002. Was hoping to do more with it but just don't have the time. This car is very rusty. Based on the rust I think the car sat outside, uncovered for a few years. The rear shock towers are solid, the driver side is showing rust but still solid. The front fenders are rusty behind the turn signal housings. Only the driver rear floor pan is solid. Light rust in the trunk area. A few small holes in the spare tire well. I have the majority of the trim and small interior pieces. I can provide a pair of seats that I have for an extra $150.
The car is a good yard driver. Definetly will need some serious tlc to be running tip top.The brakes are sticking and a support for the transmission is rusted away. Believed to be numbers matching but i have not done the reasearch to verify. Overall the engine, transmission and rear end feel and sound good based on the few short times I have drove around the neighborhood. You are still able to shift through all the gears eaisly, it is just a little wobbly during shifting. A great car for serious restoration or parts car.
