Until last week the unthinkable happened. ....Up for sale is my wife's 2007 BMW 328xi sports wagon. We are selling because since last week the car will not go reverse anymore. W e don't have any money to fixe it unfortunately and we have to let it go to someone that knows about BMW and that could get it fixed. The dealer told us it will cost $7000 for a new transmission but we don't have that kind of money.
It is finished in beautiful alpine white and the tan leather interior with the dark burl wood trim finishing.
It is a true sports wagon (230 horsepower and a functional all wheel drive that do work that can fit 5 people and their gear!! It is perfect in all types of weather.
We bought it as a BMW Certified Pre-owned vehicle from Prestige BMW in New Jersey. We traded in her 2009 Audi A3 and what a big difference! There is a reason why BMW is the ultimate driving machine. They are very strict with their certification and this sports wagon passed with flying colors. It doesn’t have the CPO warranty anymore but I believe that you can buy an additional extended warranty from BMW.
This is one of the most comfortable cars we have owned. We drove it from New York to Michigan and back many times. It made 27-31 mpg on the highway. The seats are amazing and ride quality is excellent!
It currently has 115, 000 miles. It is in good condition in and out. We are non-smokers. It is washed weekly and detailed every 3 months. Options are: Cold weather package Premium sound package Comfort access Panoramic moon roof
Lumbar support Voice command Driver Assistance package roof rails. BMW assist with Bluetooth Privacy glass Tinted windows all around Heated Seats sensors tire pressure monitor auto dimming mirrors power folding mirrors high beam assist rain sensing wipers. Its loaded and the only thing missing is the navigation oh and Adaptive Xenon headlights
I have all the service records. The last repair was the starter which got changed at the dealership, manuals, keys, and rear cargo cover, car fax. See the attached Car fax Buyback Guarantee!
The car fax shows an accident. This happened with one of the previous owners I confirmed this with Prestige BMW. It was due to icy conditions ( black ice) and the sports wagon slid into the car in front of it and scraped the left side of the front bumper. It was reported due to the other vehicle having a cracked bumper cover. The sports wagon only suffered scratches and nothing had to be replaced! It did have the front bumper
repainted by the BMW dealership body shop and it matches 100%.
It also comes with the BMW carpet floor mats and BMW all weather mats. We bought it At 42, 000 miles in 2010. It had new Continental Run Flats put on. 90% tread left! And for the past 3 years we replaced the tires 4 to 5 times ( with new ones)due to flats since that run flat tires cannot be fixed. At 63, 000 miles it received new pad, service and oil/filter change performed last month. It needs nothing but a new owner. This is a great car for a true BMW enthusiast who has money to maintain a BMW that is out of the warranty.
Remember, this is not a dealer auction car. This is our personal vehicle with ALL the history records. It also comes with all the accessories, not a stripped down auction car. We hope that there is someone out there that knows the cause of this and that could get it fixed for cheap.
THERE IS NOTHING ELSE WRONG WITH THIS VEHICLE BESIDE THE FACT THAT IT WON'T GO REVERSE. .
