Hi, looking to sell my 2001 BMW 330Ci
I was the 4th owner. Have documented service history since September 2010 @ 80k miles (see pics). I've been looking at 330Ci's on CL for about a year now, and I can say I'd never come across one that was so meticulously cared for and maintained through 3 owners plus myself. Has an incredible sounding Polk audio system with a 1000+ watt subwoofer in the trunk, sound was massive (will be selling separately unless otherwise discussed). Unfortunately, about a month ago a deer jumped in front the car and I hit it at about 60mph. No airbag deployment, and I was able to keep driving another 8 miles to get home. However, there is enough damage to the front end including minor bending of frame under driver side fender panel that it was deemed totaled. Engine was always strong, and the manual transmission always shifted extremely well, no grinding, no popping out of gear.
Issues (before deer hit)
- in 1st gear, if accelerating hard from under 2k rpm, there would be a strong vibration coming from area under rear seats (near differential) which I researched and found to be a giubo (flex disc) that was becoming worn. However, in any other gear and even in 1st gear ABOVE 2k rpm, there was never vibration even under wide open throttle.
- the e-brake didn't hold well going forward, but did hold fine backwards, so I always parked in gear anyway. this also caused a rattle sound from the area directly under the shifter and e-brake handle which was only audible right as car would turn off or start up
-power steering would groan a bit, just before full lock
Again, none of these issues, even the guibo affected it as my daily driver, and I've put 10k miles on it since June. It really was an excellent car, composed, great handling, and just enough power to make it fun.

Aside from the front driver side where the deer hit, the rest of the car is in good shape. The leather on the interior is in great condition (i always cleaned and conditioned it), the wheels had been professionally powder-coated by previous owner, shocks, exhaust, etc.. I am currently not offering this 330ci for parts, because it actually still drives (obviously not for the road), and leads me to believe that it may still be rebuilt into a very solid car, I just don't have the time or resources to do so, unfortunately.. I have it listed on a local classifieds site as well, so may take listing down here if sold. thanks!
