First let me start by stating that with everything I am about to tell you, this vehicle can be started driven now if wanted.
This BMW 528i was in the workings to become a show car but got neglected due to other projects that were more important at the time. I will list all adjustments and enhancements as well as issues that need attention. This car has been sitting for a while so fluids will need to be changed.
If you not mechanically inclined with fixing this vehicle you can either part it out or take what you need as you are getting free parts with this car!!!
Adjustments/Enhancements:
1. Engine Swap( this cars shows 300, 550 mileage but only really has about 160, 000). engine runs smooth with no problems and you can barely tell its on.
1. Ignition has been bypassed and is now located and operated by the shifting lever(please see pics)
2. Air filter box has been removed but will be included and K&N filter is attached. (Original Air Box included)
3. Upgraded Head Lights with blue spectrum.
4. Upgraded Tail Lights
5. Upgraded Rear spoiler and Rear back window visor
Issues that needs attention:
1. Oil leaks( there is oil leaking at the bottom of the engine and is only visible when car gets to high temps) (Gaskets included)
2. Cosmetic issues ( Seats are in good shape and has normal ware & tare, Carpet is in poor shape and needs deep cleaning.
3. Window do not work as clips inside the door are broken as all you here are crunching sounds. windows sometimes slide down by their self because of broken clips.
4 Rear bearings need to be replaced and there is a humming sound ( Bearings included)
5. Starter is going and needs to be replaced (Starter included)
6. Trunk lock is needs to be replaced but can be open with sharp object. (see pics)
7. Hood release lever needs to be replaced but can be opened with pliers (Brand New Hood release cable is included)
8. ABS light is on and Front speed sensor needs to be replaced (Speed sensor included)
9. Front left Grill needs to replaced and does not fit in socket due to broken clips
10. Driver side door need new door handle as it is broken off but will open from inside.
11. Rear back door on drivers side will not open as lever is not connected to latch. this needs to be fixed.
12. Steering wheel leather is pealing
13. Sunroof slides back and forth but does not go into tilt position
