This car was just completely gone through and what was needed to be replaced was replaced with new parts not rebuilt or refurbished parts. I just recently took the car to a BMW shop and it was confirmed that the transmission electronics are all working properly. The issue was diagnosed down to the shifting from third to fourth gear that was causing the transmission malfunction. It is a mechanical problem. With the money I just spent to diagnose exactly what is wrong with the transmission this should help you to save money on the repair and bid properly for the car. Everything else with works properly. Keep in mind this is a 10 year old car. And if your pricing similar cars you need to take into account the $5,000.00 I just spent on parts and labor when you are bidding.” |
