The exterior is a paint over midnight blue over ( originally chamonix white) with a few blemishes two spots the size of a quarter paint flaked off. West coast car with 99% rust free. E3 chassis sedan shows just over 70, 000 miles (170, 000 miles) on the working five-digit odometer.This 40 year old specimen comes with a clear California title and has been in storage for 3 years, it comes with nearly all maintenance records since new. This Bavaria sports an updated 1988 3.5 liter BMW six cylinder engine w/triple Weber carbs mated to a 5 speed manual transmission. The air conditioning works but could use a charge. Dynamics 5 spoke wheels w/ excellent rubber.Real wood Momo steering wheel, working fog lamps. This structurally very RUST FREE, example with very good shock towers and solid floor panels. The five digit odometer works as well the other gauges.The engine has excellent power with a fabulous intake from 3 Weber carbs and side velocity stacks.The transmission up and down shifts well and the steering is tight.The braking is strong and fairly straight with excellent pedal feel and the suspension with Blistein shocks is very tight free from any clunks or rattles.This classic 40 year old sedan is a joy to drive.
