I have a 1998 BMW Z3 in excellent mechanical condition. I purchased this car about 2 years ago for my daughter to drive. At the time of purchase, it was in need of a head gasket. I removed the head and had it rebuilt and resurfaced at Quality engine in Monroe, N.C. I replaced the complete cooling system including the water pump, thermostat, radiator with cap and all of the belts. I also replaced the Vanos seals. The Vanos system on a BMW has to do with the variable timing of the cams to improve both fuel economy and performance. This car runs amazingly well and gets close to 30 MPG. It recently received a new clutch oxygen sensors, and a full set of new tires. As mentioned, this car is in excellent mechanical condition. The car does have some cosmetic issues. The top is electric and works as it should. The stereo is a Kenwood high power unit with CD, and Bluetooth capabilities for both calls and music. The stereo has some really nice features such as Pandora, Android or Iphone/Ipad linking capabilities, clock syncing with the radio so the time is always right, the ability to change the color of the display to your taste, and a USB port for data transfer from a phone or thumb drive. If you are looking for a fun dependable car to drive this is it. If you are looking for a flawless car that appears new, look elsewhere. The car currently has about 168, 500 miles on it but that will increase with it still being driven daily. The car is for sale locally so I reserve the right to end the listing early if it sells.
