The Bugatti Veyron EB 16.4 is a mid-engined sports car, designed
and developed in Germany by the Volkswagen Group and manufactured in
Molsheim, France, by Bugatti Automobiles S.A.S.
The
original version had a top speed of 407 km/h (253 mph).
The Veyron's brakes use cross drilled, radially
vented carbon fibre reinforced silicon carbide (C/SiC) composite
discs.
The brake calipers are made of lightweight
aluminium alloy monobloc. The fronts brake calipers have eight
titanium pistons and the rear calipers have six pistons.
