1962 Buick Electra 225 Convertible. It has the 445 Wildcat V-8 engine, and the dynaflow twin turbine transmission. As far as I know this car is all original except tires, water pump, shocks, fuel pump, and fuel tank. Car has the original paper stamp inspection stickers on the firewall. Car has original spare tire in the truck along with the bumper jack. Trunk interior all original. Original Powder blue interior in great shape. Original real leather seats in great shape, no rips or tears. Carpet in good shape(not matted or faded). Dash in great shape, no cracks. Car came with the dash mounted 'Twilight Sentinal'. Car has original Buick passenger visor mirror. Rear aluminum speaker cover dented in(normal). Things done recently to the car within the last year. All new belts, new spark plugs, wires, cap, rotor, new water pump, new electric fuel pump, all 4 new head lights, new front blinker bulbs, new reverse light bulbs, new rear shocks, replaced gas tank, rebuilt original radiator(new core), rebuilt carb, rebuilt original transmission(all new fiber and steel clutch plates, all new gaskets and seals). Oil change, air filter. Tires in good shape lots of tread. Brakes are fare, car stops very well but has a slight pulse. Power steering works. Power brakes work. High and low beam lights work. Car has automatic headlight dimmer switch that works. Tail lights and brake lights work, reverse lights work. All 4 blinkers work. Trunk light works. Horn works, radio works, power antenna works, interior lights work, all four power windows work, 4 directional power seat works. Heater fan works, heat works, A/C compressor clutch engages but needs to be recharged. Hood, trunk and both doors close and open beautifully. Power top works but needs a little help to raise and lower(oil is low). Left interior blinker marker bulb is out, speedometer gear needs to be replaced(speedometer doesn't work). A/C doesn't blow cold, gas gauge doesn't work. Window wipers don't work. Car had 85, 532 miles on it last fall when the speedometer quit working on me, I've put less than 200mile on it since then. Car is very solid but has some light surface rust in some places and has a few rust holes in the normal areas. Wall vents covering up rust holes(by previous owner). Trunk pan and all floor pans are solid. Car has had zeibart undercoat system applied at some point in its life. Paint is original and has some crows feet. All glass is in great shape, no chips, scratches or cracks. Door locks work. Chrome and all trim in good shape. Car does smoke a little after it's been running a while. Engine runs quite and smooth with no knocking. Single exhaust system has no leaks. Car is a pleasure to drive, runs great, and drives smooth.
