Up for auction today is a 1970 Buick Electra 225 convertible complete car that will need total restoration The car has been sitting in a garage for 20 years it is a loaded car with many options like:
Power Windows, Tilt Column, Automatic Controlled A/C and Heat, Power 8 way Bench Seat.
Body has had some work done to it and was repainted many years ago it was a factory black car with black convertible top and red interior, all body panels have patches in them and bondo, the back had some weird custom body work done to it that was taken off so there is a lot of holes drilled into the back sections of the rear quarters, deck lid, and tail lights I do have another set of taillights, reverse lights, and rear bumper that come with the car to replace the damaged ones, all the trim was taken off the car when it was repainted and does not come with the car, all the glass is intact except the back window which was broken several years ago but I do have an extra on that comes with the car, front bumper and grills are in nice shape, top is not ripped and it goes up and down with no problems and all the windows go up and down except the driver side window, comes with all the original wheel covers and rear skirts, trunk floor does have many holes in it the main floor looks decent.
Interior is still in good shape, a couple small rips in vinyl of the front seat the back looks fine, the door panels are also in nice shape no rips or cracks that I can see, dash pad has no cracks, dash board is very nice condition and is all complete, everything seems to work fine in the dash except the a/c and heat selector even the radio still works.
Engine is original but is apart the intake is off as is some of the front brakets and water pump, I was told the engine was revved up to high and some of the push rods are bent not sure if any other damage was done to it, transmission is a turbo 400 automatic and it does have a Posi traction rear end in it. will need new exhaust, the brake and gas lines look fine, all the wheels roll fine so it can be winched onto a trailer with no problems.
Local pickup is preferred but I can deliver it within a 250 mile radius of Waterford, WI 53185 for a fee depending on you location or I can help assist on putting it on a hauler but you will have to set everything up for pickup.
