2004 BUICK LESABRE CUSTOM 4-DR. SEDAN, Wrecked
V6 3.8L with Automatic transmission, Clear title
This car was involved in an accident in December 2014. It was struck by a jeep with a lift kit directly 90 degrees to the centerline of the driver's side front wheel, causing heavy damage to the front right quarter panel, hood, driver's door, radiator and condenser. The left headlight assembly has damage not visible, to the mounting tab and adjustment bracket. Passenger side is not damaged. The car was still running fine post-accident, but the radiator would not hold water for very long, so it was driven only short distances. It was subsequently parked after a few days due to the water pump (original) going out. Engine should be good to go with a new water pump and radiator. There is slight damage to front and rear bumper. Transmission is good. Interior is good. Some parts have been removed for part-out, but have not been sold, so they are all included. This was an elderly family member's car, and was garage-kept and sparsely driven for the first six years of it's life. The majority of the mileage was incurred from 2011 to 2014. Only 160, 000 (approx.) miles. This engine and tranny have a lot of life left in them, as well as many good body parts and interior components. This is an excellent parts car and/or in the right hands the car could be repaired and back on the road. Damage costs, however, exceeded the car's value and the insurance companies and Tarrant Co. Sherriff's department messed us around by getting the facts wrong and having no official documentation to support the incident. Therefore, someone gets to pick up a great parts car at a low price. Thanks for your interest, this will be free local pickup only; if you want to ship it elsewhere, it will be your expense. You may call or text (940) 399-7068 with questions. If no answer, call (940) 440-8048 and leave a message, we will get back to you.

“This 2004 Buick Lesabre has been wrecked. It was hit directly 90 degrees to the centerline of the driver's side front wheel, causing heavy damage to the front right quarter panel, hood, driver's door, radiator, condenser, ac lines. Otherwise, the remainder of the vehicle, particularly the engine and transmission did not sustain significant damage. The car was running and driveable after the accident, but radiator was damaged too badly to sustain holding water. So temporarily, it was driven short distances for a few days and the water pump went out, we parked it, and has not been driven since. Transmission in good shape as well as the V6 engine, it will just need a new water pump. This was the original water pump. The engine has approx. 160,000 miles on it. This car belonged to an elderly family member, was garage-kept and sparsely driven for the first four years of it's life. Most of the mileage was incurred in the three or so years prior to this accident.” |
