I am selling my 55 Buick to fund another building project. The 55 has virtually a new motor and the transmission was rebuilt by Jay Egge Transmission in Sioux Falls SD. It has new brakes and drums all the way around. New motor mounts, radiator hoses, rebuilt radiator, fuel pump, (now assisted by and electric pump, water pump, belts, and front shocks. leaf spring, headlights, Coker tires and heater core. All the chrome was redone and the stainless and aluminum rim was straightened and polished. All body repairs were done by G&K in Canton SD. Any patches were done with metal. Absolutely bondo on this car. Underside has been undercoated. This car is a fantastic daily driver and I have took it on long trips. Will be driving it to Texas immediately after this auction if it doesn't sell. The engine has a new rear seal which STILL seeps because it doesn't get driven enough. The stock transmission also seeps a bit. I lost the front drivers hub cap. Was thinking of putting Cragar SS wheels on it so I haven't replaced the cap. The interior has not been restored. I have also not put in a new trunk boot. The windshield wipers are vacuum operated and very slow. The factory radio has been rebuilt but is not hooked up. I needed to decide where to put the antennae and I haven't found a good option for me. The cars drives nice down the road. It shimmies when I apply the brakes steady because the pads and drums have not adjusted to each other yet. I have the paint code and the chip on the back passenger fender is gradually being filled in with layers of correct paint. There is a scuff below that chip also.The car is being sold as is.
