1957 Buick Special Hardtop 2 Door (NO POST) RARE CAR
100 percent complete car. Motor turns but its been sitting for a long while it's currently not running. 364 Buick Nailhead motor / 250HP. Super hard to find bumper endings are good on the passenger side but the driver side rear bumper ending is no good. However, I purchased a good solid drivers side bumper ending (I paid $400) that is included with car. Had intentions of restoring this hardtop but I happened to come across a 57 Buick Special Convertible which is what I'm now restoring.
Good glass except drivers door window has a crack. Some rust spots in a few areas (pictures attached). No holes through the floor. Trunk has a couple of holes where the spare tire sat but it's repairable. Car is super straight on both sides and appears it has not been in an accident. All trim is good and it's complete. Wheel wells are solid (pictures attached). Good candidate for a restore although the surface rust makes it look a little rough. Could be used for parts although it should be restored back to it's glory days.
