Description:

The car runs and drives nicely. The garage that maintained the car for the 25 years before my owner ship believed it had one repaint years ago, original seat covers under the custom covers. I take the car to Saturday night cruse ins it always gets all the attention because un altered cars from the 40's just are not that common any more. The garage that maintained it said they thought the car sound enough to drive anywhere. The furthest I driven in one trip is about 100 miles. When we take it cruise night it is about a 70 mile round trip for us. Riding in the back seat is like riding in a limo. The car is presentable but not without flaws. It has never had a restoration that I can tell.
To be honest I like that part I have had to spend hours and days correcting restoration problems that on other cars that I bought were done.. It is nice to get an original car. Of course the draw back is the car is 75 years old. The paint is clean bright and shinny. It dose have some scratches. The chrome is also bright and shinny, but there is some pitting and tarnishing. Yet with all its flaws when my friend parks his perfect 57 Chevy show car beside me most people come over to see the Buick.
Now lets get to what I know about the car, The car was used mostly by the last owner I was told as a Parade car and the flags and holders are with the car. The speedo needle doesn't register above 45mph. The radio dose not work. the heater and wipers did the last time I used them last fall. I don't know how old the tires are but the seem good and I often drive it at highway speeds when I use highways. the tires seem to function well and have what looks like minimal thread wear on them.
Headliner in good shape as is door panels. The headliner and door panels are in good shape especially for a 75 year old car. The car dose leak a bit when driven and parked. it leaks less if used more often. It is 75 years old. As a matter of fact all my old cars leak at times I keep drain pans under all of them.
I don't know what else to say about the car. ( ask if I have not covered it).
I am sure I forgot to discuss something. You are welcome to have an on site inspection done or come see it for your self before bidding.
I have done my best to describe it . It is not a show car but a presentable car none the less (in my opinion).
