The Buick Riviera’s are great classic cars but this one is clearly a step above the norm for these collectible vehicles. Our ’64 model stands out for a number of reasons:

· Finished in stunning Regal Black;
· Built with the 465 Wildcat engine;
· Paint, Chrome and Interior all very nice; and
· Used by dentist as a parade car.
Paint and Chrome

The Regal Black paint is in very nice condition with straight and well-aligned body panels [particularly important on a black car where any imperfection is immediately apparent].
The chrome and stainless are all in very nice condition.
The body and underside of the car appears to be free of corrosion other than surface rust (see pictures), and the engine compartment is appropriately detailed.
Interior

The white vinyl seat upholstery is in excellent condition as is the rest of the interior including the dash pad and headliner.
Engine

This Riviera is a lion in sheep’s clothing: while most of the earlier Rivieras had a 401 cubic inch engine, this car has the Wildcat 465 engine (465 ft/lbs of torque and 425 cid). Despite its quickness, it is smooth-running and a pleasure to drive.
Transmission
The car’s Super Turbine automatic transmission shifts properly and, with the large engine, effortlessly.
Tires, Brakes, Safety and Monitoring Systems

The car is equipped with B.F. Goodrich P225/75R15 narrow whitewall radial tires that have plenty of tread remaining.
There is, of course, power steering and power brakes to make driving effortless.
All of the engine/systems monitoring gauges work properly. Similarly, the lights, horn, wipers and turn signals all work, although the clock, radio and heater will require attention.
A Classy Vehicle with Extra Zip
This Riviera is a comfortable luxury car that can play with the Chevelles/GTOs/442s. This is also a car that the new owner will be able to enjoy while seeing his/her investment appreciate in value.
