I got this car from the estate of a prominent businessman who passed away in January from Lincoln Ne. He bought it new. 48, 000 + actual miles per the family. Very nice well kept unique car. Runs and drives super! Close to factory survivor condition. NOT a GS.
Engine is the 455 V8, Automatic Transmission. Air (Compressor still kicks on), Great heater! Power steering and brakes as well as power driver side bucket seat and door locks. AM Fm Stereo still works! Drives down the road very well. I just returned from about an Eighty mile drive and it ran superb! Cruise control works but is a bit quirkey. excellent tires on factory chrome rally wheels. Wheels are nice with some rust pits. Not terrible. Again an original car!
The body is very nice. Most of the paint is original. There are a few scratches. ( See pictures). There is road rash down low that over the years began to rust at the surface. You can see in some spots where the paint was professionally air sprayed many years ago. Obviously from minor issues. I do not believe the car to have ever been severely wrecked. Most the paint looks good but on closer inspection you will see imperfections. Has a nice shine but paint definately isn't perfect.Very solid car! Does look good from 10 feet. Chrome is excellent. Glass is excellent. All lights work.
The interior is outstanding. Very sharp desireable bucket seats and console car! Carpet, headliner, dash all excellent. Seats are great shape with some minor wear on driver seat. You have to look close. At first glance it all looks perfect. All gauges work fine. Factory AM FM Radio works. The rear package deck below the big back window is perfect. Car has always been shedded. No fading or cracking from the sun. Dash too! Carpet has always been covered from the factory huge rubber floor mats!
To sum it up your bidding on a true classic time capsule. It runs great and most everything works. It's very solid. These are getting harder to find with its unique body styling. The rear glass is something to see. It is perfect! It rides like a Buick should. I wish I could of seen this car when it was new! But still being around still and in its great shape, well that's the next best thing!
I'm a one man operation garage. I have had a dealer license for 19 years with a perfect record. Superior Auto 4521 So 88th in Omaha. My passion are Mopars. Buicks are what my Dad drove, and this car takes me back to when I was a kid. Dad had a white one. This car is sold as is. 0 or negative feedback Ebay members must contact me PRIOR to bidding. Bid retractors, go on to the next car. These auctions cast money. You are welcome to inspect the car or send someone to inspect it. Just call me first to arrange.
Where else can you find one of these appreciating unique body style classics in such original condition? You should be very pleased with this as I was When I bought it! I might go as far as to tell you that you can drive it home! But it is 44 years old. This will be your call. Shipping from a carrier should be what you need here. Thanks and good luck! Questions?
