1996 Buick Roadmaster Estate Wagon Collectors Edition
This is a beautiful car 66, 000 actual miles. A true classic in its own. These cars are the last of the great Buick Wagon Era and are becoming harder to find. It is a nice original car with all the options including the woodgrain sides and Vista Roof. From 1994–1996, the Roadmaster, began utilizing the GM version of the Gen II LT1 V8, its 350 c.i/5.7 liters producing 260 hp and 335 lb·ft. This motor was shared with the Impala SS of the same era. The transmission from 1994–96 was changed from the 'analog' 700R4/4L60 to the electronically controlled version of the same, the 4L60E. This car has the optional 3rd row seating. The exterior is clean and rust free with nice paint. The woodgrain is also clean and original yet has minor imperfections from normal use. The interior is tan leather and is also in great shape. It has normal light wear for its age but no tears or worn areas. The dash has a velour tan cover but is not cracked but it does have discoloration from the sun. The rest of the interior is in great condition with light wear. The original sunscreen is attached to the Vista roof. The ash tray is clean along with the change tray. The interior is exceptionally clean throughout yet not showroom perfect and has been used. All the accessories work. It has power windows, seats, locks with keyless entry and power mirrors. This car has always been professionally maintained. The AC is ice cold. The evaporator was recently replaced and the system serviced. There are a few arease I have to mention that need attention. The car runs and drives terrific and is reliable. The tires are like new. This car does have imperfections and if you are looking for a perfect car there are some items to attend to. The rubber side mouldings are commorn to come loose from the stainless. The one insert missing is the one on the tailgate. Some of the mouldings have been repaired or replaced. There is a small 6 inch area of surface rust starting in the jamb of the rear door. Under the area of the overflow bottle in the engine compartment on the fender well has surface rust and paint pealing. We left these areas alone so you can see the problem and not cover it up with a quick repair. I do have pictures of these areas to send if you are interested. I want to be as clear as I can about the description so please ask questions and I will promptly return answers and pictures. This car is used and has imperfections. We did take this into consideration with the asking price. We are not sure of this cars true value so the auction will dictate its value. Please be responsible The title is clear.
