Up for bid is a 1996 Buick Roadmaster Estate Wagon with 128k two owner miles. Collector's Edition like every other '96 Roadmaster. Loaded up with power everything. Boasting GM's Corvette inspired multiport injected 5.7L LT1 V8 engine and 4L60E 4 speed automatic transmission, she puts down plenty of power. Tow package with 2.93 open rear end (GW9 build code). Trailer preparation 'tow package' means the factory rated the car to pull 5000 lbs but these did not come from the factory with hitches so all hitches are aftermarket. This car has a light duty hitch. Delivers consistent 16 in town and 24 highway at 70 mph. Clean history - send me your email address and I'll send you the history report. Originally a northern car but only very minor rust as seen in pics. Runs and drives great - drive anywhere.

Condition Report
ENGINE: Runs on all eight cylinders without smoking, missing or knocking. Engine runs at proper temperature. Good battery & good charging system. Starts easy and runs strong.
TRANSMISSION: Performs beautifully. Engages gears quickly and shifts through all forward gears and reverse with good downshift and torque converter performance. Clean fluid with no burn odors.
EXTERIOR:Body: Body in very good shape. Very small dent near left taillight is the only notable damage. Car is exceptionally straight otherwise. View images full size to see details. Above average. Paint: Paint is way above average for 20 year old car. Only two chips touched up on hood and a small scratch low on the front bumper, and those are seriously about the only defects. Wood: Upper wood trim has is in surprisingly good shape with most of original laminate intact except around front wheels and tailgate showing some typical peel. The side panel fake wood is in great shape (still shiny, not faded). There's one scratch in the wood on the driver's door as seen in pictures. Other: Lower stainless bright trim is mostly in good shape. Front bumper stainless is near perfect. There are dings on left rear quarterpanel and left rear corner pieces. Rubber side trim is all there. Windshield and all other glass are good with no chips, cracks or scratches. Undercarriage is remarkably solid for origin - see the pics. Underhood sheet metal/wheelhouses have some blisters as seen in pics, tailgate sill and door jambs are solid as seen in pics. Hubcaps are in good shape - shiny and no curb rash.
INTERIOR: Interior of the car is in nice shape. There are some stains in the cargo area carpet, and a tiny tear on the driver's seat as seen in pics. Dash has no cracks, cloth seating areas are in great shape and seats are very clean. Carpet in seating area is in good shape. Headliner is nice - not sagging. Steering wheel is in nice shape. No smoke or pet odors. Very nice interior overall.
ELECTRICAL STUFF: All inspection items work (lights, horn, wipers, etc.) Except the cassette player, all other power features work reliably, including power windows, power locks, dual power seats, hot heat and cold A/C, tilt, cruise, am/fm stereo, power antenna, keyless entry, rear window release, rear wiper, twilight sentinel, intermittent wipers, and rear defroster.
DRIVEABILITY: Drives out very nicely. Steering is tight, alignment is good, suspension is tight. Brakes work well with about 60% lining remaining. Tires have about 60% tread remaining on a matched set of good quality Michelin radials. Solid, quiet exhaust with no leaks. Check engine light is not lit (except at start up as it should.) No complaints - drive anywhere.
If you don't like the spokes/raised white letter tires, I'll replace them with the aluminum wheels/whitewalls shown in last picture with the buy it now only. Also with the buy now, I'll replace both dinged stainless pieces on the left rear.
