1968 Buick Skylark Custom Convertible
Gorgeous and well documented example of the sexy 68 Buick Custom Skylark Convertible. Local car that was built at the GM Baltimore plant. Completely restored in 2010 with tremendous records and history. Restoration took over one year to complete and there is just too much that was done to list. Body and paint are very good in factory original Scartlet red paint. Car has only been driven a little over 2000 miles since restoration so very little chips or road wear anywhere. Interior is equally impressive and correct white vinyl she came with and done by highly regarded, Rankin Interiors. Everything was kept as correct as possible so dash etc. is very original with all gauges and lights working. Does have after market steering wheel but factory one can come with car if wanted. Also has professionally installed oil pressure, alt, and water temp gauges for added confidence when cruising. Factory power top is new with glass rear window and works perfect. All rubber trim was replaced and all chrome removed and redone. Has original matching# 350 cubic inch engine with newer 4 bbl carb for better performance and reliability with factory T350 automatic transmission. Both units perform excellent and car drives really fantastic.Has both original power steering and brakes plus we have acquired all A/C components and will reinstall as part of sale. All glass is great and wheels and tires are like new. Trunk and engine compartments are very nice with factory spare and jack there. Also has original 1968 Maryland license plates plus nice custom car cover.There are massive receipts for all brake, suspension, exhaust, body and paint work so you can see everything for your self. Underneath is very solid with no rust issues and pictures available upon request. Overall a great, correct driver that is ready for its next proud owner.
