Purchased new on May 11, 1968 at Rector Cadillac in Burlingame, California. This gorgeous 32, 000 mile survivor was owned by the original owner until I purchased the car in 2010. They lived in Redwood City, California. A real preserved survivor.
The car is finished in San Mateo Red Metallic with the original Red leather and original convertible top!! The original interior is in amazing condition….down to the original carpets and floor mats. The door panels and wood are in excellent condition. It has the original boot which fits. Some of the paint is original, some redone. Excellent original chrome and stainless trim. This is an original unrestored car that has been lovingly cared for its whole life. Powerful and smooth mechanically, with newer tires special ordered from Diamond Back classics.
Front disc brakes. Options include-Factory Air conditioning (stopped working about 3 years ago), Sentinel, power door locks, power seat, AM/FM Stereo, power antenna all in working condition.1968 has the larger 472 engine.
Black California plates, Original keys and Rector Cadillac key chains, copy of original “pink slip”, manuals, protect-o-plate and even the business card of the dealer salesman.
