Summer is upon us and no better way to refresh than in this stylish RARE 1989 Coupe de Ville Convertible.
The 1989 marked a return to what Cadillac stood for...full size proportions.
ORIGINAL factory paint and ORIGINAL leather interior, door panels and headliner in very good condition (see the pictures). Exterior paint shows NO rust. Interior leather has NO tears.
Leather does show some cracks but the interior has been regularly conditioned. Convertible top does show some small seam separations. Small nicks on driver's door mainly, but car shines beautifully. Any small, plastic trim or chrome that has come loose has been saved for restoration. Please refer to the pictures.
All electrical components work. Original (factory) radio is temperamental though. Passenger side/rear window regulator is slow and needs assistance. For 27 years old though, the original components work well.
Has been regularly serviced (mostly oil changes) and convertible top pistons have been replaced. This convertible runs and drives beautifully.
Probably less than 250 were converted in 1989, but Car Craft vanished as part of S&S Coach/Superior Co. which is now part of Accubuilt Company and they retained no records on past build counts. This 1989 Cadillac de Ville Convertible in such good (original) shape is extremely RARE!
Lastly, only 55, 050 original miles! I mainly only drive it when I want attention...
