1963 Cadillac Sedan Deville. All Original!! California Car with NO RUST. ZERO. I purchased last year from a collector that purchased from an Estate in California and he had it shipped to Washington so he could sell it there. He said car sat for at least 15 years in California before he purchased. I purchased car with the plan to do a full restoration. I started with the engine. Here is what I have completed
Newly Rebuilt Motor with less than 50 miles. $4500 spent
Power Coated Fan Shroud, Air Cleaner Cover, Fan, Power Steering Bracket
Powder Coated Exhaust Manifold using special high heat coating
Rebuilt Radiator
Cleaned painted engine compartment
Newer Brake Booster
Painted Valve Covers
New Power Steering Pump
All original Interior
69, 197 Original Miles
Car runs GREAT!! Does need to warm up like any older car.
The Cons:
Still leaks a bit of trans fluid and oil. I have a new gasket that I will include for oil pan. That's all it needs
Radio works, but will not switch stations
Clock does not work
A/C car, but missing Compressor
Power Seats have power, but seat will not move
Have to push brake pedal semi hard to engage brakes
Tires have a couple flat spots from sitting
Paint is good from 10 ft. Needs detailing. A few minor dings and scratches
I'm now moving out of CALI and do not want to take car. The hard work is Completed!!!!
