This is a very clean and straight '98 Eldorado. I checked the car in my repair shop before agreeing to list it. All wheels removed and the car was thoroughly visually inspected by me and a Cadillac dealer mechanic who is familiar with these cars.
The body is very straight and the paint is very good. It appears that it has been repainted to a high standard, but the clean hood may not have been. Looks very good. See photos. Wheels and engine cover painted to match body.
First and foremost among the good points is that the engine and transmission were removed, disassembled, and resealed. There is not even the hint of any oil or other fluid leak on either engine or trans. Both operate smoothly, the engine having excellent power, the trans shifting without any issues. The engine block-to-main bearing girdle and girdle-to-oil pan both resealed with gray silicone goo. New head gaskets visible. Super clean castings.
Very recent A/C compressor and blower motor.New front sway bar links. Very recent rear rotors and pads, good front rotors and pads.
Suspension bushings are okay, front and rear. Parking brake cables free without any binding.
NO STRUCTURAL RUST SEEN ANYWHERE, SUBFRAMES OR UNDERBODY.
All brake lines behind driver's door to the rear are without any issue. The brake lines in the area of ABS, left front wheel well have surface rust but I don't see flaking, as in a line about to leak.
Items that are not in good condition include: Front struts and coils are dry, as are rear air shocks BUT ride is soft and I'd recommend replacement.
Right rear muffler is in contact with frame. Exhaust system looks healthy and has no leaks. Seam on right rear muffler is beginning to open but not leaking.
Fuel filler neck is rusty
Very good condition rear tires with front tires that match but the front tires have cracking of outer sidewalls in by the wheel rim.
This car is located in Dublin, Bucks County, Pennsylvania.

THIS PENNSYLVANIA TITLE IS RECONSTRUCTED VEH.I can assure you that neither I or the Cadillac mechanic saw any evidence of frame or chassis repairs. I believe the vehicle was left behind at a rented apartment and a title obtained for it after passage of required period of time.
