Up for Auction is a 1949 Cadillac Series 62 Fastback. The car is in excellent shape for its age. The floors, trunk, frame etc. are rust free and solid. The lower edge of the passenger door has been patched as you can see in the pictures. The right rear quarter panel is soft under the stainless steel. The car is complete - all parts that are not on the car are bagged and tagged and will be included. The only known part that is missing is the jack and hold down. The number matched motor (331) and trans is included but is seized. In the car is a 1955 Cadillac 331 with matching transmission. The motor runs great and has been detailed as you can see. Brakes have not been checked or worked on so the car cant be driven. The motor is set up for 12 volts and is not wired through the car. Hubcaps and wheels are from 55 also and if winning bidder wants will swap hubcaps with 49's. Original color of the car is Darmouth Green with Tan interior. This car is one of many 1949 Cadillacs that I have and will make sure all parts are included. The car is being sold on a Oregon title dated from November of 1965. The car has been off the road and stored since then. Please ask any and all questions as this car is on here to sell. I reserve the right to end this auction at anytime. The car is located about two hours north of NYC and can be viewed by appointment. The reserve is set low.
