This Cadillac was sold new in Pomona, CA in the fall of 1956 and spent its life in Pomona up until the late 80's when it was sold to a gentleman in Washington State. I bought the car from him in 2011 and brought it to Idaho where it's been restored in the original colors (Orion Blue over Tahoe Blue), and all mechanical's have been gone through. 365 CID V8. This is NOT a nut and bolt restoration, but rather a well maintained original that has received a restoration as needed. Engine and transmission has been rebuilt, new paint, new brakes, new tires, new dash pad, new headliner, new carpet, new weatherstripping, new fuel tank and sending unit, new electric fuel pump, front seat reupholstered with the original material. Trunk is still original and so are the bumpers which would need to be re-chromed if you're looking for a show car. Power brakes/steering/windows/antenna/seat (6 way). This is however a very nice car in excellent condition that really needs nothing but details to take it to the next level. A complete restoration on a car like this would cost you $40000+ to buy, the Reserve is set at a lot less so this is certainly a good deal.
